Solomon Burt is a musician, IT consultant and an old travelling buddy of mine.

At the beginning of 2009, Sol set up the web infrastructure upon which this website is built. In addition, he read and provided feedback on drafts of chapters two and eight, parts of chapter nine, and on the sections dealing with government, geopolitics and the shape of human civilisation. He also spotted a couple of typos is chapter one.

His chief contribution though, was moral. As soon as he read the opening section of chapter nine, Sol got it – that the threads of contemporary human knowledge invite a new fusion of the experiential, the cerebral and the artistic; and that there was nothing more important that I could do than place myself towards the eye of that storm.

Sol has spent the last few years wrapped in the international, bohemian and artistic subculture of Brighton, on England’s south coast.
