Book Update – July 2011 – One day to go

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been upgrading the website into a book-support platform. Note the following pages:

In the next few weeks, I’ll be adding captions to the picture gallery and posting the all-important reference pages.

Today the first print run was bound (the final stage in the printing process). Sara and Charlotte were at the factory in Reading, watching them come off the machine. We spoke this afternoon. I’m told all is well.

I get my first copies tomorrow. Pre-orders will be sent out next week.

Deep breath.

    Hey Peter

I’ve been following your story since your return to Britain, although I really can’t recall how I came across your site. Who needs the torture of the PhD when you can invent one of your own, huh.

Well done! Now, hopefully, comes the time to enjoy the interest and questions that you receive from your reading public. No doubt there’ll be lots of work in terms of publicity; however, you’ll be talking about The Finished Work.

And, yes, I’ve certainly pre-ordered my copy!

Very much looking forward to a great read, with much to ponder and discuss.

Suffice to say, if you’re ever looking for accommodation in Melbourne, Australia do get in contact. I’m in inner-city Fitzroy, and very much central to everything.

Amazing times! I say hold your breath, take it all in and try and remember these moments in detail. They are going to be important memories to be treasured when you are old and infirm!!! ;-)
