Book Update – March 2010

Now the book is written, my overwhelming priority is to bring a product to market. That could take a while. However, I’m filled with boiling hunger to get it out there and willpower hasn’t been a problem for me of late, so watch this space.

In the meantime, we’ve been getting the web infrastructure in place for the sales process, and in preparation for the book going live.

The story is full of real people, some of whose names’ have been changed for legal reasons. The photos from the journey have therefore now been pulled from Flickr and an online gallery added to the website. Find it here >

We’ve added a bit to the site containing a smattering of the comments which have been made about my work since the e-diary started. It’s divided into three sections, comments on:

  1. the original e-dairy and subsequent blog;
  2. the book’s thesis, from the few people who’ve seen some or all of it; and
  3. the manuscript itself, from the growing number of people who’ve seen bits of that.

It’s the first time any of this stuff has been shared publicly. Check it out >

If anyone wants to add something, do email it over. However, this is a sales tool, so if you want to take the piss or slag me off, you’re going to have to do that on the Facebook page. Find that here >

Finally, a quick word from my favourite Christian apologist:

‘Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.’ – C. S. Lewis
